-Passive Voice (For Clarity)
Direct- means to cut out the middleman. Avoid “it” and “that” pronouns and say instead, exactly what you mean.
Don’t assume the writer knows what you mean, even if you are redundant; always say what you mean exactly.
Stay away from double verbs in the past tense using “to have.”
Instead of “I had run to the store,” say “I ran to the store.”
For greater precision, be careful with the use of “and.”
